The conference this year will be the biggest and brightest yet and is Staged at the prestigious Glasgow Science Centre where you not only have great views over the Clyde and City but complementary entrance to the fun science exhibits. The futuristic building mirrors BCS Health Scotland’s innovative and forward looking approach.
If you are of a development bent then I’d recommend checking out John Isgrove who’ll be speaking on the Benefits of Agile Practices if you get the opportunity. John has led some sizeable development teams in his time and really knows his stuf. Tell him we said Hi.. His slot on the agenda hasn’t been defined yet….
So what are we going to be gasing about? Well we are listeners rather than speakers but we will be talking to clients about elements of the IBM Portfolio, particularly in the Areas of #Rational (Think Jazz and Web Policy and Web Security) and #Lotus (think connectivity and well connectivity at the Same time) and of course covering elements of the IBM Hardware portfolio – namely storage and servers.
As a IT Supplier new to the Health Industry we will be listening and asking questions and listening. If you are going along – please come over to our stand and tell us about the technical and business issues you are experiencing. You never know – you might benefit from a newbie with a fresh perspective and the worst case scenario is a problem shared being a problem halved! So come along and visit us at the conference.
If you are in health you might also want to check out http://scottishhealthcare.co.uk a great resouce for Healthcare Technology news in Scotland and beyond… I must confess to know Neil Campbell (@scottishhealth) who runs the site but as the quality is there I don’t think I need to worry about delcaring any relationship.
